I was peer assessed on my Re-Make Re-Model magazine cover. My assessor said that the facial expression and pose of my cover star entices an audience. She also said that the way the cover lines frame the image looks neat and the colours of my cover lines harmonizes with masthead. They also liked that my cover star looks like they could be in a folk rock band.
To improve, my assessor said that I should investigate further into facial expressions used on magazines such as NME so that the facial expression of my cover star matches the ethos/philosophy of the magazine. I will further look at more NME magazine covers and focus more on the facial expressions of the artist(s) rather than colour schemes. My assessor also said that I should re size my cover star to make her bigger so that the cover lines frame around her face more neatly so that there isn't so much space.
