Organisation: Effects

For my music magazine I am going to natural lighting, preferably high key lighting with a black and white filter to make my photos stand out and to look quite bright.

I like the effect of a black and white filter because it is simple yet professional.I like the idea of having the entire image in black and white except for my cover stars lips (like the image of Lana Del Rey below) which I would like to be either a dark red or bright red. I think having the red lips the only coloured bit of my main image will make it stand out and the colours will compliment each other throughout the cover as my text will most likely be in the colours of reds, whites and blacks. All of this is extremely simple but I feel like some aspects of my magazine will make it stand out and make it look amazing.
